Korenix extends its series of Industrial communication computers by launching the new JetBox 8180 Intel Atom-based 1.6GHz Communication computer with 1GB DDR2 RAM system memory, low power processor and DVI for providing flexible high performance connectivity in industrial applications.
In addition to its rich interface, including RS-232/422/485 serial ports and four USB2.0 ports, the computer comes with a gigabit Ethernet port for ensuring high speed and high bandwidth data transmission in industrial networks. The DVI with optional dual display along with the high definition audio is available for network constructors to have flexible audio and video display and be perfect choice for field site monitoring. Besides, the new high performance compact computer also provides miniPCIe and SIM slots giving the possibility for mobile module expansion in applications where wireless connectivity is needed.
The optional Windows XP operating system embedded in a CompactFlash card or a SATA Hard Drive which provide additional storage expansion and therefore insure system development, further allow users to benefit from its ready-to-use and simple functionality.
Featuring rugged anti-shock/anti-vibration design combined with wide operating temperature, JetBox 8180 is a perfect embedded communication solution for high speed reliable data transmission in heavy industrial environments.
