Korenix JetBox 9500 series is a networking and communications platform that integrates L3 routing, PoE managed switching, Linux computing together and enhances network management efficiency via OSPF, VPN, VLAN, QoS…etc. JetBox 9500 series can substitute a lot of single-function devices in a front-end control box to save space, simplify system architecture, and reduce cost of installation and maintenance.
Embedded Hardware Platforms for Versatile Enhanced Network Deployments
To enhance networking and communication infrastructures in complex industrial applications, Korenix JetBox 9500 series are specifically designed to be implemented as stackable embedded hardware platforms.
JetBox 9530 and 9560 baseboards use the Intel IXP430/435 processors for embedded computing in wide operating temperature range: they are equipped with 32-bit 33 Mhz PCI interface which allows the PCI-104 interconnectivity. Besides, IO board of JetBox 9530/JetBox 9560 mounted to one side, allows PCI-104 boards to be stacked on the PCI-104 bus to the right of the board. This way up to 4 PCI-104 boards can be stacked together.
Korenix PCI-104 Embedded Cards
For stackable applications Korenix has designed JetCard series available at PCI-104 cards. They can be stacked on the PCI-104 bus of any board that complies with the PCI-104 standard. Maximum configuration for the PCI bus of PCI-104 modules is four, plus the Host Board. Each JetCard board has 5 ports; hence, with its 4 layer stacking capability, maximum 20 ports can be available for flexible embedded network construction.

For a complete hardware solution Korenix provides prototyping and proof of concepts for Linux based applications and hardware validation for third party PCI-104 add on cards. The PCI-104 bus allows the JetBox range to meet the requirements of any embedded communications and networking application, with various add-on cards suitable for validation.
