miniPCIe Introduction

• Two PCI express mini card sizes
  -  Full-miniPCIe card
  -  half-miniPCIe card
• PCI Express Mini Card edge connector provide multiple connections and buses as follows:
  -  PCIe×1
  -  USB 2.0 →Mobile, Wifi module
  -  SMBus
  -  GPS
  -  Wires to diagnostics LEDs for wireless network (i.e., WiFi) status on computer’s chassis
  -  SIM card for GSM and WCDMA applications
  -  Future extension for another PCIe lane
  -  1.5 and 3.3 volt power
• Korenix JetBox miniPCIe slot goes for USB2.0 signal to provide Mobile or Wifi connection

• Users can install 3G/HSPA/(GPS) miniPCIe module and SIM card for mobile & GPS extension.
• Users can install wifi miniPCIe module for wifi extension.
• Two antenna locations are reserved.
