tftp file transfer

Tftp (trivial file transfer protocol) is a file transfer protocol known for its simplicity. You can use tftp for file transfer between the JetBox and the host PC for following purposes:

• Download files from the JetBox
• Upload files to the JetBox
• Upgrade the JetBox firmware remotely

For example, you can use the JetBox to keep the data of serial devices as a log file and use the tftp function to download the log file from the JetBox.

Another example is: if the JetBox was already installed in the front end and you want to update the programs or the firmware of the JetBox, then you can use tftp function to upload the new files into the JetBox remotely.
